Q. Will the use of Search Transport Industries (STI) treatments void the manufacturer's warranty?
A. No. STI has letters from engine manufacturers which indicate use of our product will not void the warranty. Additionally, STI has Product Liability with an A+ insurer that will cover any valid claims.

Q. How quickly will I see a return on my investment?
A. STI treatments start to work immediately, and offer a strong ROI. Typically the cost is returned in about 1-2 months from the fuel savings alone.

Q. How long do the treatments last?
A. STI Engine Treatment last for 100,000 miles and the Drive Line (Transmission and Differential Treatment last for 250,000 miles.

Q. After treating my trucks engine, transmission, and drive axles, what type of improvements can I expect in my fuel economy?
A. Although there are many variables, typically a fleet would average around 3% with a range between 2-5%.

Q: If I use STI Diesel Fuel Treatment in conjunction with STI Engine and Drive Line Treatment, what increase in fuel savings would a typical fleet see?
A: In a recent 6-month test with a fleet of Cummins Engines, a 7.7% savings was noted. So when all STI treatments are used together, typical fuel savings of 10% can be expected.

Q. Are these products available through other dealers or retailers?
A. They can only be sourced through STI and authorized representatives and distributors.

Q. Do these products contain any harmful ingredients such as chlorine?
A. No. STI treatment's are safe for the equipment, the environment, and technician.

Q. Is there a risk if the units are over treated?
A. While you should treat using the recommended dosage amount, there is no danger of over treatment.

Q. How do I know how much to use?
A. MSDS and technical advisors are available from STI to answer any questions you might have.

Q. Is the engine treatment available in either synthetic or mineral formulations?
A. Currently only in synthetic formulations but may be available in mineral oil upon request.

Q. Has this technology been used before?
A. This technology has been used by many of the worlds largest companies for 25 years. In addition the worlds marine fleets have used the same technology for 15 years. The technology has been tested previously by the largest independent lab in the U.S. Some of these applications are sold as Private Labeled service items in 16,000 tire and quick lube shops.
